Headlights
I purchased a 2004 Forenza for my daughter back in February. Thank God there have been no major problems. However, last week my daughter was complaining that her headlights were not working. During the day, the DRLS would come on as normal, but at night, the headlights did not come on. I did some searching and found that Suzuki had a recall for the headlights for ... Read More...
Re: Suzuki Forenza Real World MPG [shadowfox5953]
I have a 2005 manual transmission Forenza and I'm getting close to 30 mpg. My driving is about 55-65% on the freeway/highway. When I calculate my mpg when I fill-up the tank, I almost always get 29.xxx or 30.xxx mpg. Don Read More...

Mine nearly drives itself; however, the steering wheel does make noises like the fluid is low but it is not. Read More...
2005 Suzuki Forenza
I bought this car new off the lot with 15 miles on it 10/29/2006. After 300 miles, the air bag indicator on the passenger side stopped working. Got it fixed but now at 18,000 miles indicator light back on. This car will not start when temp is below 20 degrees. However, when 20-25 it stalls out no matter where you are. This car has been towed 4 times and in the shop 6 times ... Read More...
Re: We bought the Forenza... [flutterbykiss]
I bought a 2005 Forenza about 3 weeks ago and I am VERY pleased...never in my life have I traded in a car...bought a new car and actually LOWERED my payment. I traded at 2000 Honda Civic in and got a brand new Forenza...it is really nice (not to mention cheaper) and I am absolultely thrilled with it...my teenage daughter is dying to have one herself...and I have liked ... Suzuki Aerio Wagon Safety & Crash Test Results
Hope Suzuki reads this
Just sold my 1995 Sidekick 4-door. Great vehicle for all 125k miles. Sold on Suzuki reliability. The trucklet was getting old, though, and I was concerned for my wife to be driving it since due to it's age, I started to worry about safety. No airbags, no ABS, etc. Sort of tinny, and in this day and age where ABS and airbags are kind of no-brainers, I thought, hey, time ... Read More...
re: airbags
Again, my point is that Suzuki should have offered the dual chamber airbag to begin with. I'm not saying they need to retrofit the bag from the Forenza; rather, they should have designed a better airbag for the Aerio, especially once they knew the Forenza would have one. Offering a chest only airbag in 2005 is almost pointless unless they offered a head curtain ... Read More...
2005 AERIO AND 2008 AERIO
I read in the August 16 issue of Automotive News that the refreshed 2005 Aerio will be out very soon with a few minor interior and exterior changes. It also states that a whole new Aerio will be a 2008 redesign. They must plan on keeping it in the line up and that is good. They also mentioned a new compact car about the size of an Aerio for 2007. That puzzles me unless it ... Read More...
SIDE AIRBAGS STANDARD FOR 2005
I just wanted to let you know that a reliable source has told me that the 2005 Forenza sedan is getting standard side-impact airbags to coincide with the Reno and Forenza wagon - which have been confirmed on the Suzuki Auto website to receive them. :-) Read More...
Aerio at NY Auto Show
I went to see the NY Auto Show the other day. There was an Aerio SX displayed there, but I don't remember seeing an Aerio sedan. The SX was displayed practically out of sight, behind a huge column, and all the way on the edge of Suzuki's display area. There was practically no visitor traffic around it. Suzuki's new cars, on the other hand, were displayed right in the ... Read More...
