Proof positive that Buick ownership causes irreversible brain damage... Tiger has a kid and a gorgeous wife. What could he possible need a two seater for? Now the caddy just got married a year or two ago. Additionally by giving it away he is no longer responsible for the full tax liability caused by winning it.

Mulally siad he will work for a buck a year, so i guess that precludes just about everyone. He qualified that statement by saying only "if" Ford had to use the bailout money. He anticipates that "most likely" Ford won't need the money. He also expects Ford to go under if GM does. So what does that say?

The proposal is a complete joke. True. But is it good enough to pass congress?
I've seen replacements on ebay

(non-oem) for around $60. I bought one several years ago for the rado for just about the same. I also lucked out cause both trucks were black and so was the mirror. Any other color will need to be painted. Same if you order oem. Just did a quick search and turned 468 items matching silverado mirrors. Just make sure it has the plug for the power mirror and isn't a manual one.

I don't think ford will be interested. True. Don't think that Alan Mulally would want someone on Ford's payroll making more than he does.

Other than replacing the whole module I can't think of anyway to fix it. That would only eliminate the connection itself. Have you tried testing the individual connectors for power with a voltmeter? I understand you're doing this as a favor. That price of this favor is really high and I would consider it a favor if the guy took his truck somewhere else. Electrical problems are a pain cause they sometimes take way too long to troubleshoot. Course this may not help your situation. Oh one last thing. Have you checked the fuses. If I'm not mistaken the OBDII is on a fused connection.
