We even print out these corny Kelly Blue Books from the 90210 area code to present a false market price that is more in line with what we want to get for the car. Does your advertised price specifically state this is from the 90210 zip code, either in the big or fine print? If so, then I see nothing wrong with it. But if it doesn't then that is clearly wrong and you have confirmed to us that some dealers still have a long way to go until some of us here will view them as "respectable businesses". And I'm being nice. If I really said what I thought, the post would get deleted by our gracious hosts and I may get kicked out of here.
That "Hondaness"

It's that certain intangible feeling that one gets in a Honda or a Toyota...something that just can't be put into words. That's what puts these two car makers at the top...the benchmark so to speak. It's like class...either you have it or don't. Hard to explain...but it was in every Toyota that we've owned and now with our Honda. The Sandman :)

Well, while the Kennedy limo (known as X-100) was rebuilt with a new solid roof and interior, this is not it. As stated, this is a 1969 used by Nixon and 'retired' to Greenfield Village in 1977.
Happy with price but very minor body damage: red flag?

Hi guys-- Northern Washington state -- no awesome FL pricing for us up at the other corner of the country, alas. 2008 i Touring 4dr automatic. ABS/SAB/SAC but no other options. Pretty much exactly to our specifications, except that it's gray, and I love the Phantom Purple. 15,000 miles, clean Carfax report, traded in by single local owner. Sticker price is $14995, my price is $13995 + taxes & fees - my $200 junker trade-in. We haven't purchased this car yet, we will have our mechanic inspect it this week before we finalize the deal. The reason I'm posting is because I want to run a maybe-gotcha in front of you guys. There is some very light body damage on the car -- a 1" wide dimple on the roof of the car above the driver side door, and a 3"-4" long crease near dead center on the roof. Neither piece of damage is very deep, but they are quite noticeable. They seem purely cosmetic to me, but what do I know about body damage? The salesman says that this damage is from a falling tree branch, and they have promised to fix it before we finalize (and they will). My wife and I went over the car carefully and there is no other visible body damage -- no scratches on the windshield or windows, no paint or glass damage from sap, etc, etc. I'm confident my mechanic will catch any major gotchas with this car, but I'm wondering if the lot's repairs might void some part of my factory warranty, since they are not a Mazda dealership or service center. It's been a long haul to find a Mazda3 with the safety features we need at a price we like, but I'm willing to dump this one and move on if there's major red flags around this problem.

If I were Mullaly, I'd have told the senate where to stick their corporate jet comment as well. You act as if the CEO does nothing to earn that salary - unlike the union, there is no leverage they hold over the stockholders head to get that salary, the market pays for guys with their talents and skills, just like a football player. It seems extreme to us, but you'd take it if you could get it, you know you would.
