Re: Paint and brake issues [robnao]
Hi There! I have been searching for someone that has had the brake problems like I have on the front brakes. I own a 2006 Titan Crew Cab 4x4 and I can assure you that the brake issue has not been resolved. I had to change out both front rotors and 4 pads at just 30k miles. After changing them out, I went another 28k miles and am having the same problem. Nissan refuses to address ... Read More...

Re: New truck [treehuggerjake]
I have the 2006 Nissan Titan Crew Cab. I love my truck. I have 4 kids that go along with it and it works out great. I bought the truck with about 9,500 miles on it and a couple of months later and just over 14,500 later; no problems. KNOCK ON WOOD. My truck has been great. We just moved ourselves and load both of our trucks up many times and my truck did awesome. :shades: Read More...
Re: nissan titan chrome wheels plastic?? [razorthunder]
It all depends on how you want to look at the numbers my fine feathered friend. #1 Toyota just registered a drop in profits. Big deal. My business profits can go up or down or sideways quarter to quarter, I'm still very successful. Phil Edmonston (Lemon-Aid) recommends the 2006 Titan, his highest rating. I put every bit as much emphasis on his writings as I do on CR'S. ... Read More...
Re: titan caught fire [kokojoe]
OMG! Nissan should be banned from producing these death traps that are manufactured without regards for consumer safety. I'm glad to hear that no one was seriously injured or burned in this incident. The whole line of 2006 Altima's were recalled because of engine fire. Of course, Nissan discounted them without passing that information to potential consumers. ... Read More...
titan caught fire
I have a 2006 Nissan titan crew cab LE with 7000 miles. On 4/16/07 the driver side rear door caught on fire. My 2 year old son and myself were outside the truck while my 4 month old slept in the back seat. I noticed smoke coming from the door handle and around the window seals, so I rushed over and opened the door. Upon opening, the wind fanned the flames and the entire inside ... Read More...

Re: 2007 Titan LE 4wd CC [firehaz1]
The brake issue was fixed in late 2005; and the paint issue was isolated to 2006 models; hopefully you should have no problems with the 2007; however, Nissan seems to develop issues even after manufacturing for a number of years, for example in the 2006 release of Altima, it was recalled for engine fires, and this was a the last year model before a new generation ... Re: Question: Old Titan's reliability versus New Titans [razorthunder]
I just bought the 2006 Crew Cab, at year end. It now has 1500 miles on it and is currently at Nissan getting a complete rear end replacement. It had a bad vibration between 70-80 mph, and didn't report it until my 1000 mile service. It seems that several Titans past have had rear end problems. Mine is stock, no mods. Also I noticed that my passenger floorboard was completely ... Read More...
Titan Reliability
When I heard that Nissan was building a new full sized truck in a new factory with new workers I knew it would take a few years to get the thing right. So, I was surprised when my recent issue of Consumer's Report arrived and it showed the Nissan is still, thru 2006, the most unreliable full sized truck on the market. CR reported that over half the owners of 2004 Titans ... Read More...
