Re: Paint and brake issues [joebusa]
Robnao, Sorry to hear about your troubles. Yes, I've experienced the same problems. I have the 2004 Titan and experienced similar problems. I had my front rotars and brake pads redone at just under 30K miles. Then I to experienced it again within about 25K miles. Then again. Finally, they put the "kit" on my truck and it appeared to fix the problem until I reached ... Read More...
Not Impressed
I bought my titan in sept 2004. The truck was great, loved the power, design, handling, heck, I loved just about everything. What I didn't love, however, was when I got in it the second day I owned it, and it wouldn't start. Here I am, proud as can be with my new truck, and it won't start. It's imbarrasing. Naturaly I called the dealer, and they said bring it in, so when ... Read More...

Re: Brake problems [bufalla]
I have an 2004 Titan SE. I have had brake problems 11 times(warped rotors of course). Nissan told me they would take care of the problem. They admitted they had a problem. Now I have 75000 miles an the brakes are warped again. They told me they was not going to warranty it anymore. I have contacted a lawyer an going ahead with the lemon law. It is really bad because I love ... Read More...
Re: Routine maintenance [jennylynn]
I have a 2004 Titan SE with 65,000 miles. I started having brake problems before it hit 20,000. I took it in because I thought it needed an allignment and was told that it was the brakes right away. Obviously they knew it was a problem. So the rotars were warped and they fixed that. At around 24,000 miles my back brakes were metal on metal so took it in. This was not covered ... Read More...

The car has been totaled by the insurance company. Anyone else have this problem? We contacted Nissan they are going to have someone contact us. Read More...

AM Radio Fails in 2004 Titan
I just had the AM portion of my radio go out on my 2004 Titan. The dealer says the AM tuner has been failing on the Panasonic radio but there was no re-call; they were only replacing the radio if the vehicle was still under warranty (which mine wasn't). The problem in fixing the AM adio is that you have to replace the entire radio/CD changer which costs over $1,000 I filed ... Read More...

Re: Bad experience [adriciu]
I experienced the same. If you do choose to take it to the BBB, I can send you some example packets, as I have taken on Nissan twice; with two successful buy-backs. I can tell you Nissan won't act until you choose to go the BBB process, or other legal routes, then they will do everything to prevent buyback. These people that state that they would buy another Nissan, ... Read More...
Re: Nissan customer service BAD experience [adriciu]
Thought I would chime in with my experience. I have a 2004 Titan SE crew cab 4X4 that I purchased new in May 2005. After 25 months and 35,000 miles of ownership I have nothing bad to say. My truck did develop the brake judder issues, as expected, and the warranty repair was performed at 17,000 miles. It's been in the shop for a couple of recall items and I just received ...
