Nissan Quest Prices Paid and Buying Experience
2008 Quest SE
I have a lease running out next month and just started looking for a new vehicle. I have a 2006 Nissan Murano that we love and this is owned. We were looking to buy another Murano but there are few deals on them. A local dealer in RI offered a Quest van which has most of the toys as my Murano for $25,500. The sticker is $37,195 including all of the dealer add-ons. I am leaning ... Read More...
2006 Quest Wheel
I have an 06 Nissan Quest that has the Michelin Pax wheel/tire system. I am looking at replacing with non Nissan rims/tires, due to the replacement cost & hassel of fixing a damaged Pax tire when out of town. Does anyone have any info on what wheels & tires seem to work well as a replacement. Also if I don't replace the TPMS will the warning light or buzzer stay on, or ... Read More...

Re: 04 Nissan Quest or 06 Dodge Caravan [bobbylena]
We purchased a base 2006 Dodge Caravan in Sept. 2006 with the 4 cylinder engine. With 29,000+ miles, no problems to report. Acceleration is leisurely at best. However, with the size of your family I suggest you look at a 2006 or 2007 Grand Caravan. There are lots around for under $15,000 or $16,000 with low mileage. All come with either a 3.3 or 3.8 V6. Good luck. Read More...
Re: 04 Nissan Quest or 06 Dodge Caravan [ateixeira]
Agree 100 %. We could take our daughter, son-in-law, and kids ages 10 and 7 with all luggage in our 2002 T&C LX....but we are not as crowded now they are 13 and 10 years old since our 2006 Sienna LE has more than double the cargo space the T&C LX had. The plain, shorter Caravan would not have enough cargo space for a couple with 4 children and the 4 cylinder engine would ... Read More...

04 Nissan Quest or 06 Dodge Caravan
We are looking for any advice on what we should purchase. We have looked at a 2004 Nissan Quest V6, with 38,000 miles for $14,999, and a 2006 Dodge Caravan 4 cylinder with 21,000 miles for $10,998 we are a family of six with four kids ages 3 weeks, 3, 6, 7 years old. Please help us!!! Read More...
Re: BRAKE PROBLEMS [tjshan]
You disagree but support my argument by stating your 2006 Quest has had 3 sets of new rotors in 22k miles. This board is littered with posts about people having issues with the brakes and rotors. Your theory about the hubs is not original. Good luck getting Nissan to replace the hubs. BTW, you can't not simply put on bigger rotors. You would have to change out the calipers ... Read More...
Nissan Quest/Mercury Villager Starting & Stalling Issues
Re: villager stalls intermittently when fully warmed up [davidwright]
I've seen a few posts about the throttle position sensor (TPS) getting out of whack, especially for intermittent issues. Here's one example: cmitchell5, "Nissan Quest/Mercury Villager Starting & Stalling Issues" #113, 16 Jan 2006 8:09 am And there's always the Nissan dealer since the '95 Quest is a twin. Read More...
Nissan Quest Low Ground Clearance
Re: Low Ground Clearance 2006 Nissan Quest [mrragu2u]
I was surprized at the low clearance. YES the van does a great job of pulling I had a special heavy duty hitch installed, just in case... I used to pull a boat, but when I became widowed, wasn't sure if I would still would. I'm not sure about how to 'raise the vehicle' because when I was checking out replacing tires on my van - they are expensive cause of the rims and size. ... Read More...
Re: Nissan Quest in Snow? [mommyjan]
I found the quest can start good on snow, but the poor weight ditribution (60/40) hurts its handling in snow. 2004-2007 has a full bench, the only difference is that you dont have to remove a single restrain to fold the seats unlike 2004-2006. The 3rd row can fold flat, but the 2nd row can only fold somewhat flat. (not a perfect flat cargo) Read More...
